About frost-clutch
Building a sustainable future through practical energy solutions
Our Story
frost-clutch began in 2018 when a group of energy engineers recognised a gap between what sustainable technology could achieve and what property owners actually understood about their options.
Too many homeowners and businesses were either unaware of practical renewable solutions or had been put off by confusing technical jargon and unrealistic promises from less scrupulous providers.
We established this consultancy to bridge that gap—providing clear assessments, honest recommendations, and quality installations without the sales pressure that plagues much of the industry.
Our Values
The principles that guide every assessment, recommendation, and installation we undertake.
Practical Solutions
We recommend only what makes genuine sense for each property. If solar panels won't work for your situation, we'll say so and suggest alternatives that will.
Transparent Pricing
Every quote includes all costs. No surprise fees, no hidden extras, no pressure to upgrade to premium options that don't add real value.
Quality Materials
We partner with established manufacturers who stand behind their products. Equipment warranties typically range from 10 to 25 years depending on component type.
Certifications and Standards
All installation work is carried out by MCS-certified technicians, ensuring compliance with the Microgeneration Certification Scheme standards required for government incentive programmes.
We maintain membership with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), which provides additional consumer protections and dispute resolution services should any concerns arise.
Our assessors hold qualifications from the National Insulation Association and relevant electrical certifications. Continuous training keeps the team current with evolving technology and building regulations.
Our Approach
How we work with clients from initial enquiry through to completed installation.
Initial Discussion
A brief conversation to understand your goals, property type, and any specific concerns or requirements you have.
Site Assessment
An on-site survey evaluates your property's characteristics, current energy usage, and potential for different renewable technologies.
Detailed Proposal
We present options with clear explanations of expected performance, costs, and payback periods based on your actual situation.
Installation
Our certified technicians complete the work with minimal disruption, followed by system testing and user training.
